Sta-For S.r.l. occupies an area of 7,500
m² , including 5,400
m² covered areas. The company specialises in drop-forging and upset-forging of parts made of common, special and stainless steel and copper alloys.
Sta-For S.r.l. has an extensive capacity for the production of finished forgings and machined parts obtained from blank.
Spacious buildings contain various production departments for:
• Tooling, construction, maintenance, and modification of dies
• Cutting
• Forging, with several forging lines equipped with 250-3, 150 t. Presses, drop hammers up to 17,500 kg-m and 120-950 t. upsetting lines, both traditional and robotised.
• Machining, with CNC machining centres, milling cutters and lathes.
• Technology lab, equipped with tensile, impact and hardness testing machines, quantometers for chemical analyses, 3D machines for dimensional checks and tensile machines for testing hooks, bars and special parts with capacity of up to 2,000 KN
